Water Ionizers are home appliances that produce ionized alkaline water. It can easily be installed in your kitchen sink or tap water faucet. These unit creates both acid and alkaline water. Acid water for cleaning and other external hygienic purposes. Whereas alkaline water is use for food preparations and for drinking.

Top of the line model of water ionizers from well known distributors in the USA are pricey or expensive to maintain. These water ionizers can produce different level of ph or potential hydrogen needed by our body to keep our metabolism balance.

A water ph of 0-6 is considered acidic, ph of 7 is neutral, and ph of 8-14 are alkalized. Another comparison between different water ionizers are it's capacity to produce ORP: oxidation reduction potentials. Oxidation is the aging process of all living and non living things. ORP is measured through medical tester, a value of -300mv of reduction is good enough. Most expensive water ionizers have a value of -300mv or more.

Opinion wise, a water ionizer than can create water ph of 9 or above is scientifically considered alkaline producing machine. Alkaline water is what we needed to function and make our body metabolism work properly. This will eventually prevent early development of dreaded illnesses or diseases known to the medical science.

To compensate for more Oxidation Reduction Potentials (ORP) we can do that by eating the right food and constant diet, change of life styles,  and by drinking at least 7 to 8 glasses of alkaline ionized water.

Eat acidic food, and drink acidic drink in moderation. Our body needs 20% acid and 80% alkaline in order to live a meaningful, healthier, lesser medical issues, and a happy life!
